HabitUs (working title) – is an R&D for a new solo performance in collaboration with musician Carl Beukman, exploring the relationship between verbal languages, dance, sound and the body. The piece responds to our increasingly globalized, multicultural world where more and more people seem to be fragments of nationalities and places.
Thanks to the kind support of Arts Council England, this research has began with some inspiring sessions with Wendy Houstoun as mentor, Lou Cope and Dorothy Max Prior as dramaturgues.

Works by ensemble members in
The Book of Invisible Bridges July/August 2012

13th July- 13th August at the Phoenix Gallery, Brighton
Ensemble members Bruno Humberto, Yael Karavan and Linda Remahl are among fourteen artists who respond to a Galician/English collection of texts written by Xelís de Toro. Within the pages are found an array of mysterious images: a falling man, a photographer’s dream, searching feet, a painter’s staircase, and most importantly, blank pages. The corresponding texts and fragments of writing serve as catalysts for a body of multi-disciplinary and collaborative works encompassing film, poetry, photography, illustration, installation, sculpture and painting.
Participating artists include: Bish, Ed Briggs, Chévere, Circa69, Bruno Humberto, Yael Karavan, Fredrik Lloyd, Fran Pérez -Narf, Linda Remahl, Matt Rudkin, Dolores Sánchez Calvo, Jim Sanders, Jonathan Swain and Prue Waller.
